Tucked away in the heart of Raymond, the Pitchwood Inn & Alehouse exudes charm and warmth. From the cozy cabin-style rooms to the inviting courtyard garden, every corner of this property tells a story. As an avid historian and lover of nautical adventures, staying in the St8 Room made me feel like a true captain of the ship, with its maritime theme and comfortable amenities. The attention to detail in Cabin 7, beautifully acquainted for a romantic couple or a family of 4, was exceptional. the room's king-sized bed provided a restful sleep after a day of exploring local points of interest, including the nearby Northwest Carriage Museum and Willapa Harbor Golf Course. The Pitchwood Alehouse, with its promise of great food made with fresh ingredients, truly delivered. We enjoyed a delicious meal paired with local brews, soaking in the cozy ambiance of the onsite restaurant. the convenience of having a fully equipped kitchen in some rooms, including a 4-burner range with oven, microwave, and fridge & freezer, added a homey touch to our experience. Our days were filled with activities in-and-around Raymond, from hiking and fishing to exploring the quaint downtown core. the welcoming atmosphere of the inn, coupled with amenities like free WiFi and a smart flat-screen TV, made it easy for us to unwind after our adventures. Whether you're a history enthusiast, a nature lover, or a foodie at heart, this charming inn has something special to offer. As someone who values authenticity and comfort in my travels, this hidden gem ticked all the boxes for a memorable and delightful experience.
